Legislative and Governmental Relations
The legislative and governmental relations practice at Phelps Dunbar is comprised of attorneys with a broad range of governmental experience. Our attorneys actively represent governmental and private clients before Congress, as well as federal, state and local administrative agencies, on both a continuing basis and as particular needs arise. The firm has been instrumental in the adoption of laws enhancing the ability of clients to conduct business in the states where they are located, and in the modification of legislative proposals to reflect more fairly the realities of a client's business environment. - Supporting media efforts in furtherance of the client's position.
