Attorney Kim Boyle to Serve as Local Chair of 2013 Women’s Final Four®NEW ORLEANS – Jul 3, 2012 – Phelps Dunbar attorney Kim Boyle has agreed to serve as the Executive Chair for the 2013 NCAA Women’s Final Four® Host Committee, Inc.
The Executive Committee, made up of New Orleanians representing Tulane University, the Allstate Sugar Bowl, the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, the City of New Orleans, the New Orleans Hornets and SMG, will serve as the governing body for the 2013 Women’s Final Four® Host Committee, Inc.
“I am thrilled to serve as the Executive Chair for the Women’s Final Four Host Committee,” Ms. Boyle said. “Events like this bring thousands of visitors to New Orleans. We have a great opportunity to feature our city and continue to build economic growth through our tourism industry.”
Ms. Boyle is regularly involved with organizations that work to better New Orleans, whether event-driven like the Final Four, or project-driven, like the Bring Back New Orleans Committee and the Louisiana Recovery Authority after Hurricane Katrina. She currently serves on the Touro Infirmary Board of Trustees and the Tulane University Board of Trustees.
The 2013 NCAA Women’s Final Four® will be held at the New Orleans Arena on April 7 and April 9, 2013.
