Phelps Dunbar to Sponsor The Pro Bono Project’s 24th Annual Justice For All Ball
NEW ORLEANS – Jun 29, 2012 – Phelps Dunbar LLP will be a sponsor of the 24th Annual Justice For All Ball (JFAB) on September 28, 2012 at the Audubon Tea Room in New Orleans. The event raises funds to support The Pro Bono Project in their mission to match private bar attorneys with clients who cannot afford to pay for legal services.Phelps Dunbar partner Chris Ralston serves on The Pro Bono Project’s Board of Directors, andassociate Raymond T. Waid is serving on this year’s Justice For All Ball Committee to ensure the success of the event. Phelps Dunbar encourages its attorneys to participate with The Pro Bono Project by acting as counsel for those in need, and attorneys from the firm regularly support The Project’s activities. New Orleans partners Harry Rosenberg and Mary Ellen Roy have been active on the board of directors over the past several years, and many Phelps attorneys have served on the Justice For All Ball Committee.
The 2012 Justice For All Ball will feature music by Big Sam’s Funky Nation and food and beverages from more than 20 Greater New Orleans area restaurants as well as the Audubon Tea Room. Silent and live auctions featuring art and travel will provide attendees with additional ways to support the Pro Bono Project’s efforts.
Tickets are $150 in advance and $175 at the door. For young attorneys with fewer than five years of experience, tickets are $100 in advance and $125 at the door. Ticket packages and sponsorships are available. All proceeds benefit The Project.
