Karen Blakemore practices in the area of litigation, focusing on environmental litigation and regulatory counseling. She assists clients in administrative enforcement actions, civil litigation, and environmental compliance assessments. Her practice also includes assisting clients in preparing comments to proposed federal rule making, and in challenging final rules through administrative and judicial proceedings. She frequently interacts with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, and other federal and state regulatory agencies to assist clients in permitting, compliance, and enforcement matters. 

Prior to entering law school, Ms. Blakemore served as an Air Quality Specialist for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and URS Corporation.
